  • Frame

  • Q1: Is it possible to buy the frame only and transfer my old lenses?

    A1: Yes, we offer a PhP 1,000 discount if you buy the frame only. But, we do not allow transferring of lenses to maintain accuracy of the prescription.

  • Q2: My frame doesn’t suit me. Can I have it exchanged?

    A2: Yes, we can exchange your frame if within one month from date of purchase.

  • Q3: I broke my frame. Does the warranty cover this?

    A3: Yes, we offer a 50% discount on your replacement pair if within one year from date of purchase.

  • Q4: Do you have frames for children?

    A4: Yes, please check out our Junni collection.

  • Lenses

  • Q5: The prescription on the lenses is not suitable for me. Can I make an exchange?

    A5: Yes, we provide a one-time only complimentary exchange if you experience discomfort in your vision within one year from date of purchase.

  • Q6: My grade got higher. Does the warranty cover this?

    A6: Our warranty only covers discomfort in your vision. But, we offer a 50% off on the Lens Replacement fee if within one year from date of purchase.

  • Q7: The lens has become scratched. Does the warranty cover this?

    A7: Our warranty only covers discomfort in your vision. But, we offer a 50% off on the Lens Replacement fee if within one year from date of purchase.

  • Q8: I purchased a pair of glasses with single vision lenses. Would it be possible to change the lenses to progressive lenses?

    A8: Yes, we will waive the Lens Replacement fee of Php 2,990 if within two months from date of purchase. You just have to add Php 5,000 for the Lens Upgrade.

  • Q9: I have purchased a pair of glasses with progressive lenses. Can you change the lenses into single vision lenses i.e. normal reading glasses?

    A9: Yes, we offer free exchange of progressive lenses to single vision lenses within two months from date of purchase.

  • Q10: I am bothered by the lens thickness. Would it be possible to make them thinner?

    A10: Our Licensed Optometrist will offer the most suitable lenses based on your grade. There may be instances where we can’t meet your requirements on the lens thinness due to your grade and size or shape of the frame.

  • Q11: Do you offer thinner lenses?

    A11: Yes, all our lenses are ultra thin ranging from 1.60 to 1.67 with no additional fee. Our Licensed Optometrist will offer the most suitable lenses based on your grade.

  • Q12: I had my new lenses made to the same grade as before; however, my vision seems different. Why so?

    A12: Depending on the shape of the frame and fitting, there could be a change in vision. In the event that the new lenses are not suitable for you, please return to the store so we can check the grade and make the necessary adjustments to the frame as well as fitting.

  • Q13: Is there an additional fee for astigmatism correction?

    A13: No, there is no additional fee regardless of astigmatism or grade.

  • Q14: Do you offer lenses with UV protection?

    A14: Yes, all our lenses are equipped with UV protection which blocks over 99.9% of ultraviolet rays.

  • Q15: Can you change the lenses for the frames purchased from another optical store?

    A15: Yes, Lens Replacement fee is Php 2,990. These lenses are ultra thin and multi-coated equipped with UV protection, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant and water repellent coating.

  • Purchasing Glasses

  • Q16: Are there any circumstances that incur an additional fee?

    A16: Yes, there are additional fees on upgrades to progressive lenses, blue shield lenses, color lenses and Transitions lenses.

  • Q17: How long does it take to make the glasses?

    A17: Your glasses can be processed in 20 minutes after payment for single vision lenses. Special order lenses take around 5 – 7 working days if within Metro Manila and 7 to 10 working days if outside Metro Manila.

  • Q18: When getting the glasses done at the store, is a prescription required?

    A18: No, we have a Licensed Optometrist available to check your eyes. However, we recommend obtaining a prescription if you are 8 years old and below, if you have an eye disease and are receiving treatment or if your eye conditions are unstable.

  • Q19: Do you provide eye exams for children?

    A19: Yes, we do. However, for children 8 years old and below, we recommend obtaining a prescription first.

  • Q20: Is it possible to have an eye exam while wearing contact lenses?

    A20: No, you must remove your contact lenses 15 minutes before the eye exam.

  • Q21: Can you make glasses with the same grade as my existing pair?

    A21: Yes, just bring your glasses so we can make new ones with the same grade. But, in some circumstances such as scratches or peeled coating, we might not be able to check the grade properly. We also have Licensed Optometrists available to check your eyes.

  • Q22: What payment methods do you accept?

    A22: We accept cash and credit card payments. For other possible payment methods such as coupons and gift cards, please feel free to ask our staff.

  • Q23: Do you offer installment payments?

    A23: Yes, we offer 0% installment at 3 months or 6 months on selected credit cards.

  • Q24: I may not be able to come back after 5 to 7 working days. Can you deliver my glasses?

    A24: Yes, we offer delivery service nationwide for just Php 200 per pair.

  • Q25: Where are OWNDAYS stores located? What are the operating hours and on what days are you closed?

    A25: Please refer to OWNDAYS Shops page for the complete list. Operating hours may vary across all stores.

  • Warranty

  • Q26: How long is the warranty period and what are the terms and conditions?

    A26: We have 1-year limited warranty and lifetime maintenance services. Please refer to OWNDAYS Customer Guarantees page for more details.

  • Q27: Is it possible to return an item after purchase?

    A27: Yes, you may return and exchange any OWNDAYS product if within one month from date of purchase. We accept all valid returns with products in good condition.

  • Q28: What are the terms and conditions on the warranty of lenses?

    A28: We provide one-time only complimentary exchange if you experience discomfort in your vision or if you opt to change your grade within one year from date of purchase. Prescription specified by the customer or issued by another doctor are not covered under this warranty.

  • Q29: What are the conditions of the warranty for the frames?

    A29: We provide complimentary exchange if damage is due to manufacturing defect. Damage due to deliberate misuse, improper repair, negligence or lack of care and sale items are not covered under this warranty. You may choose any frame of the same value if your current frame is no longer in stock.

  • Q30: Is the warranty valid at any store?

    A30: Yes, warranty is valid at any OWNDAYS store worldwide. Please bring your warranty card with you.

  • Q31: I lost my warranty card. Is my pair still covered by the warranty?

    A31: Yes, but we recommend that you keep your warranty card. We are unable to provide certain warranty services if you do not present your warranty card.

  • Q32: The warranty period is already over. Can you still provide warranty?

    A32: No, we are unable to extend the warranty period.

  • Q31: Can you make glasses with Transitions lenses?

    A31: Yes, we can.
    A pair with Transitions lenses is made for an additional fee of PHP5,000.
    *Please allow 7 working days for preparation.

  • Q33: I lost my glasses. Am I covered by the warranty?

    A33: No, our warranty does not cover loss or misplacement.

  • Q34: Can I have adjustments made at any OWNDAYS store other than the one where I made the purchase?

    A34: Yes, we offer adjustments for free at any OWNDAYS store worldwide.

  • Q35: What after sales services can I enjoy?

    A35: We offer lifetime maintenance services for free. This includes screw tightening, personal fittings, frame adjustment, nose pad replacements and cleaning of lenses.

  • Q36: The nose-pad screw and hinge screw have come off. Can you fix it?

    A36: Yes, we can fix it for free. If the part is no longer available, we will offer 50% off on a replacement pair if damage is due to reasons not covered by our warranty.
