Interview with Kyosuke Yabe
The key lies in the unique frame size which is on the bigger side, but without being too overwhelming.
I wanted a good enough size that could hide the eyebrows and yet not looking like those huge sunglasses you often see celebrities wearing.
I didn’t want it to just cover the eyebrows. I wanted it to be a unique form that was big enough to slightly cover the eyebrows but still allow others to recognize your facial expression through your eyebrows.
My idea was a design that would combine all these elements – practical, trendy and without concealing the facial expression.
These sunglasses are designed to suit both men and women.
For me, I enjoy looking at the sunglasses from the sides because that is where you can see the richness and depth behind the design.
Another interesting feature is that the sunglasses are able to cover your eyes even when others look at you from the sides.
