How to Measure Frame Size

Using Credit Card

  • STEP 1

    Please have your credit card or card of the same size ready

    • *Height of card is approximately the same as the width of a typical spectacle frame

  • STEP 2

    Hold the card with one end at the centre of the nose and the other end at the outer corner of the eye

  • STEP 3

    Check the position of the card edge

    • XXS size
      XXS size

      When the edge of the card is outside the face

    • XS size
      XS size

      When the card edge is facing inwards

    • S size
      S size

      When the card edge is at the same level as the outer corner of the eyes

    • M size
      M size

      When the card edge is positioned inside the outer corner of the eyes

    • L size
      L size

      If the edge of the card is positioned at the left of the pupil

    • XL size
      XL size

      When the edge of the card is at the centre of the pupil

Using Ruler on Face

Using Ruler on Face

Stand in front of a mirror and place a ruler on your face to measure the distance between your temples. Ignore the curve of your face and measure in a straight line instead. The width of the spectacle frame is also measured in a straight line.
