Q1: Can you replace the lenses of glasses purchased from other shops?
A1: Yes, we can replace them. However, we are unable to do replacements for some glasses due to constraints in the shape, the parts as well as the condition of the frames. Please allow our staff to assess your frames first.
Q2: Can you make the glasses with the same prescription as the current pair I’m using?
A2: Yes, we can. Please bring along your existing pair of glasses or your prescription record when you visit us.
Q3: What kind of lenses do you use?
A3: In OWNDAYS, we use lenses manufactured by leading international lens makers. Our standard lenses are high index aspheric lenses that come with UV protection and dust-resistant coating. Our lenses can reduce over 99% of UV rays reaching the eyes.
Q4: Can you replace the lenses of rimless frames?
A4: Yes, we can.
However, it may take up to a few days to complete since additional processing is involved for rimless frames.
Q5: How long does it take to complete my glasses?
A5: Your glasses can be ready in as little as 20 minutes if we have the lenses in stock at the shop. For other lenses such as colour lenses and progressive lenses, it takes about 2 weeks since these are custom made lenses.
Q6: Can you replace the lenses of sunglasses?
A6: Yes, we can. However, we are unable to do replacements for some sunglasses due to constraints in the shape and design of the frames. Please allow our staff to assess your sunglasses first.
