This page contains the Terms and Conditions in accordance with our supply of products and services to you and the use of our site.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before ordering. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Do check the details of your purchase before checking out and ensure prescription has been issued by a licensed optician/optometrist within the last 1 year.

The prescription for purchase of online spectacles shall contain the following information in order to be considered a valid prescription:

  • i. Details of consumer including full name, date-of-birth and unique identification number (e.g. NRIC number);
  • ii. Date of eye examination done;
  • iii. Issue date and expiration date of the prescription;
  • iv. Name, work and/or contact address and contact number of the prescriber;
  • v. Refractive error of the consumer (indicate spherical and cylindrical readings);
  • vi. Inter-pupillary distance reading;
  • vii. Back Vertex Distance (if applicable);
  • viii. Written assessment that the consumer does not have any existing organic eye disease or systemic medical condition that will affect vision; and
  • ix. Statement of advice acknowledgement by the consumer to undergo eye checks if the spectacle causes discomfort.

Error in prescription & address

Any errors in prescription after making payment, kindly send your invoice details along with the corrected prescription to: ecsg@owndays.com

OWNDAYS will return a call to finalize prescription.

Entering an incomplete or incorrect address may result in complication such as lost or delayed shipping.

Prices

All prices are inclusive of GST.

Vouchers

Usage of voucher(s) for online purchase will not be applicable.

Product quality

Before shipping is processed, our team will ensure quality is in top condition. Any damaged goods received, kindly send an email to ecsg@owndays.com for further investigation.

Warranty

The warranty period and terms & conditions are as follows:

Valid for a period of up to 1 year from the date of purchase, should there be any fault due to original defect.

However, in the event that the original item is no longer in stock, a product of the same value will be given as a replacement.

The warranty is not valid in the following circumstances:

  • a. In the event of damage resulting from deliberate misuse, negligence or lack of care.
  • b. In the event that the item is lost.
  • c. Damage resulting from accidents or natural disasters such as fires or earthquakes.
  • d. Loss or misplacement of warranty card.

*No exchange is made for customer’s convenience.

*Some products such as accessories are not considered as a part of the warranty.

*Please bring your warranty card when visiting the shop.

[Lenses]

Warranty valid for a period of up to 6 months from date of purchase in the event that there is a problem with the lenses making it difficult to see.

The warranty is not valid in the following circumstances:

  • a. In the event of damage resulting from deliberate misuse, change of shape, scratches or peeling of coating.
  • b. In the event that the item is lost.
  • c. Damage resulting from accidents or natural disasters such as fires or earthquakes.
  • d. Loss or misplacement of warranty card.

*No exchange is made for customer’s convenience.

*Some products such as accessories for glasses are not considered as a part of the warranty.

*Please ensure that you bring your warranty card when visiting the shop.

Shipping policy

Delivery will take about 5 - 10 working days upon successful payment.

OWNDAYS will inform affected customers if we are unable to deliver to you as stated due to product faulty or manufacturing defect during the processing period.

International Customs and Duties: Many countries impose customs, duties, tariffs or taxes on items being imported overseas.

We are NOT responsible for any of these costs if they are assessed by your local authorities. Kindly proceed to bear any additional charges.

After sales services

Should there be any necessary adjustment needed, customers may visit any OWNDAYS to do so. Adjustments includes:

  • • Changing of nose-pads
  • • Adjustments to the screws
  • • Adjustment to the fitting of spectacles/sunglasses and
  • • Re-checking of your vision for free of charge.

*Change of nose-pads is limited to one time only (warranty card required).

Amendment of Terms & Conditions

OWNDAYS reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. All amendments to these Terms & Conditions will be posted on-line. However, continuous usage of the Site will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.
