Project PartIV: MOBSTYLES x Various Artists x OWNDAY
MOBSTYLES x OWNDAYS has been collaborating with a lot of musicians. The fifth part of the series is the collaboration with three leading artist from Japan.
Chocomoo, BOXER JUNTARO and KAZZROCK – each of them fully expresses her/his worldview on the OWNDAYS frames. Creative and artistic works have finally been released!
A Kyoto-based artist, is known for her creative pop art.
PAll her works are uniquely in monochrome. Working in a wide range of fields, she has been collaborating with Japanese and overseas apparel brands such as JOYRICH, H&M and HELLZ BELLZ, in addition to numerous art shows. She has actively been expanding her field by providing works for Japanese singers like AI and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and launching a mobile phone application LINE stickers. Being featured in magazines and media overseas arises attention for herself.
BOXER JUNTARO: Artist (1975 ～) BOXER JUNTARO taught himself drawings and set up the brand BOXER. In addition to drawings on canvases with colours, sprays and paint, he energetically attempts wall paintings and does live painting performances. In 2014, he joined Red Bull Ignition 2014 as a main artist and also took a wall-painting tour throughout Los Angeles, New York and Jamaica for a period of one month.
The brand name and his artist name BOXER is from his past professional – a boxer.
A graffiti artist cum graphic designer from Japan. KAZZROCK established an organisation called VANGUARD for various street performances such as graffiti and hip-hop dance in early 1990s. Going to America after that, he belonged to a graffiti art organisation called CBS in Los Angeles, where he was the only Japanese member. He set up a company VANGUARD Co., Ltd and was appointed as a CEO in early 2000s. Being considered as a pioneer graffiti artist in Japan, he still extends his field and displays his multi-talents in various areas.
