  • General

    Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before ordering. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  • Placing an order

    You may place an order to purchase our products through our website. Any of your orders made through our website is considered your offer to purchase the product at the price shown on our website at the time of your order, including shipping fees, taxes and any other applicable fees associated with the order.

    Subject to the following, your offer is accepted by us when your payment is received by us in full. However, our products are subject to availability and we reserve our right to reject your offer if the product you order is not available. Further, we may not accept your offer if the price shown on our website is in error.

    Title and risk will pass to you at the time of delivery to your designated postal address.

  • Your obligations

    You must check the details of your purchase before checking out and ensure a prescription has not been expired and has been issued by a registered optometrist informed about your intention to buy spectacles from an online source and the details of such source.

    The prescription for the purchase of spectacles online shall contain the following information in order to be considered a valid prescription:

    • Details of the consumer including full name, date-of-birth and unique identification number (e.g. NRIC number);
    • Date of eye examination done;
    • Issue date and expiration date of the prescription;
    • Name, work and/or contact address and contact number of the prescriber;
    • Refractive error of the consumer (indicate spherical and cylindrical readings);
    • Inter-pupillary distance reading;
    • Back Vertex Distance (if applicable);
    • Written assessment that the consumer does not have any existing organic eye disease or systemic medical condition that will affect vision; and
    • Statement of advice acknowledgment by the consumer to undergo eye checks if the spectacle causes discomfort.
  • Error in prescription

    For any errors in prescription after making payment, kindly send your invoice details along with the corrected prescription to: [email protected]

    OWNDAYS will return an email to confirm the prescription.

    We are not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage you suffer in connection with your error in prescriptions.

  • Prices

    All prices are inclusive of GST.

  • Health funds

    If you wish to rebate your prescription glasses through your health fund, please contact them beforehand to check if they cover your purchase.

  • Product quality

    Before shipping is processed, our team will ensure quality is in top condition. If you receive any damaged goods received, kindly send an email to [email protected] for further investigation.

  • Warranty

    ‘Expire date’ refers to the date beyond which the prescription is no longer valid, and it shall be a period not longer than 2 years. The prescribing optometrist shall inform the consumer that the prescription does not give any form of assurance with regard to the ocular status of the eye at any point of time. If any manufactory issues happen to the frame within one year from the date you purchase, it will be covered by the warranty.

  • Shipping policy

    We deliver our product to the postal address you entered into your order. You must enter the correct postal address in your order. Entering an incomplete or incorrect postal address may result in complications such as lost or delayed shipping. We are not liable for such delay or loss.

    Delivery will take about 5 - 15 working days upon successful payment.

    Should there be any delays, OWNDAYS will inform the affected customers via email/call.

    International Customs and Duties: Many countries impose customs, duties, tariffs or taxes on items being imported from overseas.

    We are NOT responsible for any of these costs if they are assessed by your local authorities. You are required to bear any additional charges.

  • After-sales services

    Should there be any fitting/adjustment needed, you may visit any OWNDAYS to do so. Adjustments include:

    • Changing of nose-pads
    • Adjustments to the screws
    • Adjustment to the fitting of spectacles/sunglasses and
  • Cancellation of an order

    Once the order has been placed, you will not be able to cancel the order so please confirm before you place an order.

  • Amendment of Terms & Conditions

    OWNDAYS reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. All amendments to these Terms & Conditions will be posted online. However, continuous usage of the Site will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.

    We comply with any and all applicable laws, including the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions affects your right under the Australian Consumer Law.
