- Online orders are subject to a separate shipping fee of ¥500 (tax included) per order.
- We are unable to accept cancellations, returns, or changes to order details once a lens replacement order has been placed.
- Please note that certain payment methods are not available for online lens replacement orders.
- Lens replacement work places stress on the frame, so there is a risk of scratches or damage occurring. In addition, depending on the frame’s condition, shape, material, or other factors, we may be unable to accept the lens replacement.
- If damage or breakage occurs during the lens replacement process, we will cover the repair under warranty (up to a maximum of ¥50,000). In the rare event that repair is not feasible, we will instead provide a replacement with one of our own-brand products (excluding collaboration items).
- We are not responsible for any damage to or loss of glasses resulting from shipping or packaging carried out by the customer. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
- The original lenses may be damaged during the lens replacement process.
- If we are unable to accept the lens replacement due to the prescription or the condition of the frame, or if the frame is sent to the online store without the required accompanying items, we will cancel and refund the applicable portion and return the frame to you.
- In the event of a cancellation, only the lens replacement fee will be refunded; the ¥500 (tax included) shipping fee will not be refunded.
The following frames are ineligible for the online lens replacement service. Please check in advance:
Ineligible Frames
- Two-point (rimless) frames
- Frames too large to fit in the return kit (17cm tall x 17cm wide x 3cm deep)
- Frames with cracks or breaks that may cause damage
- Sunglasses
- Ready-made reading glasses or fashion glasses
- Frames made from high-value materials such as tortoiseshell, animal horn, gemstones, wood, gold, silver, platinum, etc.
- Frames that are difficult to re-source, such as vintage or one-of-a-kind pieces
- Prescription swimming goggles or prescription goggles
- Items with functions other than eyewear, such as audio glasses

Nuance Colour Lenses

Transitions Lenses
Lens color changes according to the amount of UV light. Transitions lenses get darker when exposed to more UV light while the color becomes lighter when there is less UV light.
This unique property allows Transitions lenses to be used as both regular glasses and sunglasses. Do note that the lenses get clearer more slowly compared to when they get darker.
The color change is caused by the intensity of UV light and not the brightness of the surrounding.
