レンズ詳細

"In OWNDAYS, the standard lenses for all degrees are high quality, high index aspheric lenses that cause less visual distortion."

Our lenses are manufactured by world leading lens makers such as Essilor Group and Seiko Optical Products. Aspheric lenses cause less visual distortion compared to spherical lenses. They are also thinner and therefore lighter.
In OWNDAYS, you can enjoy high index aspheric lenses at no additional fee.

View objects at all distances with a single pair of glasses

Progressive lenses have no 'boundary line' and allow you to use a single pair of glasses to view objects at all distances. They are currently the preferred type of lenses for presbyopia.
OWNDAYS offers regular progressive lenses (for far & near viewing distances, for intermediate & near viewing distances and for near & near viewing distances) as well as premium progressive lenses that cause less visual distortion. *Processing time of 7 working days is required.

Lens colour changes according to the amount of UV

Lens colour changes according to the amount of UV light. Transitions lenses get darker when exposed to more UV light while the colour becomes lighter when there is less UV light. This unique property allows Transitions lenses to be used as both regular glasses and sunglasses. Do note that the lenses get clearer more slowly compared to when they get darker. The colour change is caused by the intensity of UV light and not the brightness of the surrounding.

Reduce glare from shiny surfaces; suitable for outdoor use

Polarised lenses reduce the glare from shiny surfaces such as the road, snow and water surface to give you a more comfortable vision while helping you see better. They are different from sunglasses which are essentially colour lenses that make your vision darker. In each polarised lens, a filter is inserted between 2 pieces of lenses to cut down UV light and reflected light such that only natural light could pass through. Polarised lenses are ideal for outdoor activities such as fishing, golf, skiing and driving.

With coating to prevent mist from forming on the lens surface

OWNDAYS anti-fog lenses are treated with a coating to prevent mist from forming on the lens surface, thus giving you a clear vision at all times. It differs from water-repellent coating in that it disperses water across the lens surface to prevent visible water droplets from forming. Anti-fog lenses are ideal when you are wearing a face mask, living in a cold climate, while cooking or having a meal.
